In my last article, we had a discussion about the digital agency. The digital agency is a business organization that delivers marketing services, creative, and technical development to its clients. One of the products that a digital agency provided is a website. Mostly, a website they developed is related to the business objective, e-commerce, and internet marketing. After all of that, the web agency enhances the website and get any feedback to make a better user experience.
If digital agency brought you a few products, web agency also works on a digital platform and only develops one product. They focus to manage any kind of website that the clients wanted. Like digital agency, sometimes they only make a website and you have to seek another company that will promote your website to specific people. But there are plenty web agencies which offer you marketing strategy and implementation as well. So you don’t have to turn your head to another company.
The website is a very prospective media. Because almost all individuals that have an internet connection and access to digital world browse more than one website. Almost all companies that need to make a brand or product awareness use web agency to make one, two, or more websites. These media are one of the best ways to attract the prospective customers.

In my standpoint, website identity starts with the website and domain name. Let’s take a look at Google. Google is also a website that provides you a well-developed search engine. The brand itself is already written their name in the Oxford Dictionary. You see that? If you want to search and know about something or anything, you can ask Google. The Google brand has been engraved in your mind. Google is successful making the best identity, promote it, and even nail it to any human being that an internet connection.
The power of Google identity also makes the other competitors start to take a back step. The market leader already three or five steps ahead. So they need to reconsider their identity as a search engine website. Yahoo, Bing from Microsoft, and DuckDuckGo are other search engine websites which need an identity development. So that they can at least compete with Google and get their own market shares.
Actually, in terms of marketing, identity is the core value to win the competition. Market awareness and knowledge of your products are based on that identity. Perhaps you are asking how to make an identity that good? Actually, it’s quite simple. You just need to look closely at your competitor’s identity, regulations, and what your competitive advantage is. Still, it is hard to maintain since everything could change in a single blink. That’s why you need to be aware of the relevance of your website identity.
Finally, as a client, we should consider our website identity to keep the pace in every competition. And to do so, we can’t make an awesome identity if you do it by yourself. The web agency is always on the front line to make the best effort to satisfy the clients.
